What do I do with cardboard boxes and where can I take large amounts of cardboard for recycling?
- Cardboard can be broken down to fit into your recycling cart. Make sure it does not block other recyclables from coming out as the cart is emptied. Large cardboard may be flattened and cut down to no larger than 3 feet by 3 feet and placed next to your recycling cart on your collection day. You may also take cardboard to any of the county recycle center. There is no charge for recycling large amounts of cardboard. Remember that cardboard boxes can be reused.
