Foam Polystyrene is not accepted in residential curbside recycling. Foam Polystyrene can be taken to one of Collier County’s Drop-Off Centers where it can be recycled into a number of products, such as surfboards picture frames, construction material and packaging.

Drop-Off Centers only accept the following foam Polystyrene products:

• Clean packaging used for appliances, electronics, furniture and coolers
• Clean food containers such as egg cartons, trays, cups and plates

Foam Not Accepted: packing peanuts, thin-flexible foam, foam with stickers or tape, black, blue and pink foam.
