Fireworks Safety

The Collier County Sheriff's Office urges residents and visitors to put safety first when celebrating holidays like the Fourth of July where fireworks may be involved. Residents and visitors who want to create their own fireworks displays should consider the safety issues. You can injure yourself lighting the wick. Any lit fireworks can travel and injure someone else or set a tree or house on fire. Be considerate of your neighbors and keep any celebrations involving noise to a reasonable level, especially after dark.

The best way to stay safe is to avoid using fireworks and attend a professionally staged display.

If you have any concerns or feel there is a violation, please contact Collier County Sheriff's Office at  239-252-9300
