Collier County residents or visitors needing the required certification to show them exempt from Section 316.614 Florida Statutes, Florida’s Safety Belt Law, due to a medical condition that causes seat belt use to inappropriate or dangerous, should contact the Florida Highway Patrol Office of Commercial Vehicle Enforcement at 239-225-9613.
