Collier County DOES NOT receive any Section 8 funding, these funds are appropriated directly to the Collier County Housing Authority.
The Housing Authority is not affiliated with/or part of the County, they are their own agency with their own Board.

The Tenant Based Rental Assistance program (TBRA) is not Section 8 but a rental subsidy program to pay a portion of a tenant's rent for 1-2 years and is an income eligibility program run by the Housing Authority.
