Animals on Estates Zoned Property - What kind of animals can I have on Estates Zoned District?

In the Estates Zoned District, you are permitted to keep the following animals:

-Up to two (2) hoofed animals per acre (such as horses, goats, cows, etc.). Note: Pigs/hogs are excluded unless specific requirements are met.

- A maximum of twenty-five (25) fowl/poultry (such as turkeys, chickens, ducks, etc.).

All animals must be housed in an enclosure that is at least thirty (30) feet away from any lot line and a minimum of one hundred (100) feet from any residence on an adjacent parcel.

Please verify with the Building and Permitting Division whether a permit is required before constructing the enclosure.
