The Transportation Planning Section addresses the primary needs for major transportation improvements including corridor evaluations and studies, land use, concurrency management, development review, long range transportation planning, traffic calming and coordinates closely with the Collier Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) which operates as an independent planning agency.
