Collier CARES Individual Assistance Program- How do I know if I qualify?

1.  You must prove loss of income directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Required Documentation may include ONE of the following:

    1. Verification on Unemployment filing since March 1, 2020

    2. A letter from employer verifying a reduction in hours, pay-rate, number of shifts, or business closure

    3. Copies of pay stubs from prior to March 2020 and after March 2020

       

2.  You must prove you meet the income guidelines $75,000/yr. (single person household) or less than $150,000/yr. (2+ person household).

Required Documentation may include ONE of the following:

  1. Verification of receipt of CARES Act Payment from IRS, or

  2. Most recently filed Tax Return (2019), or

  3. Verification of Employment and 90-days paystubs and 90-days bank statements and Verification of Assists

     

3.  You must be a Full-Time Collier County Resident.

Required Documentation may include ONE of the following:

  1. Collier County Driver’s license, or

  2. Utility bill, or

  3. Property Tax Receipt with Homestead Exemption, or

  4. Lease/mortgage with current address 

 

4.  You must be a Legal US Resident.

Required Documentation may include ONE of the following:

  1. Birth Certificate, or

  2. Passport, or

  3. Naturalization Certificate, or

  4. Social Security Card  or

  5. Legal Resident Card
