Yes, in most cases.
You must check with Collier County Building Department Customer Service at: (239) 252-2400. If the Collier County Building Department determines no permit is needed, the shelter/feeding structures will still need to be a minimum of thirty (30) feet from any lot line, and a minimum of one-hundred (100) feet from any residence on an adjacent parcel of land.
This issue would need to be taken care of by the Collier County Building Department and not Domestic Animal Services.
