How can I start service at my residence?

To change the utility account to reflect new ownership, the Utility must be provided with one of the following pieces of documentation in PDF format:

  • Hud-1 along with fully executed signature page reflecting both buyer and seller signatures.
  • Warranty Deed that has been recorded by Collier County.
  • Certificate of Title reflecting the Clerk of Courts seal stamp.
  • Closing Disclosure with fully executed signature pages reflecting both buyer and seller signatures.

Along with the appropriate documentation, please provide an up-to-date mailing address, contact number, and email address.

Please be advised the buyer of the property will be assessed a $23 change of ownership fee applied to their first bill. Services are NOT disconnected because of change of ownership. As long as the builder/seller account remain current, services are not disrupted.

Should you have any questions, please contact Customer Service at (239) 252-2380 or email utilitybill@colliercountyfl.gov for further assistance.
