Vaccinations - Does my pet need to be vaccinated?

Category: Animal Services

Yes, Collier County Animal Control Ordinance states any owner of a dog, cat, or ferret shall have such animal vaccinated annually for rabies when the animal is four months old or older.

The owner of every dog, cat, and ferret shall have the animal re-vaccinated 12 months after the initial vaccination and re-vaccinated thereafter at the recommendation of their veterinarian.

DAS does not currently host vaccination clinics or provide veterinary services to the public.  Please use your regular veterinarian, or search for low cost/mobile vaccination clinics in your area, to obtain these services.
