Deceased Animal on Public Property - Who do we contact when there is a dead animal on public property/public roadways?

Collier County Domestic Animal Services (DAS) will only pick up deceased domestic animals (NOT wildlife) on public property/public roadways.

When entering a 311-Service Request or if calling DAS (239-252-7387) be sure to include what kind of domesticated animal is requested to be removed, and detailed information regarding the exact location of the domestic animal (public property/public roadway).

 

*Please Note: Collier County CANNOT remove any type of dead animals on private property or if in a Development/Community.

 

For deceased WILDLIFE on public roadways, contact the Collier County Road Maintenance Division at: (239) 252-8924 for disposal.  

 

*NOTICE: DAS is no longer accepting anonymous complaints for violations of the Animal Control Ordinance including removal of deceased domestic animals on public property/public roadways.
