Preventative Monoclonal Antibody Treatment (Coronavirus/COVID-19)

You may have been hearing more about Monoclonal Antibody Treatment (mAb) for COVID-19.

Governor DeSantis announced that a long-acting COVID-19 monoclonal antibody therapy from AstraZeneca will be available for moderately to severely immunocompromised individuals upon allocation from the federal government. Eligible patients should contact their healthcare provider if they are interested in this treatment.

The COVID-19 vaccine remains the best way to prevent serious illness, hospitalization, and death.

The vaccine is available on a walk-in basis at DOH-Collier, Monday-Friday, 9 am-4 pm.

The vaccine is also readily available throughout our community.
