Roadway Lighting - Who do I contact regarding street light issues?

Collier County Traffic Operations provides roadway lighting only for arterial roadways such as Airport Road, Immokalee Road, and Collier Boulevard but not on residential streets.
Florida Power and Light (FPL) has a program available to install what is referred to as an “Outdoor Security Light” on existing power poles which would direct the light onto a property rather than the street. FPL would own and maintain the streetlight and the energy charges would be added to the property owner’s monthly residential electrical statement. Citizens may contact FPL Customer Service at the local phone number listed at the bottom of their electric bill to request an Outdoor Light.
